Lt. Gen. Stanley T. Kresge is the Commander, 13th Air Force, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. He is responsible for the command, control and execution of air, space and information operations capabilities across the full range of military operations in the U.S. Pacific Command area of responsibility, excluding the Korea theater of operations. In this capacity, General Kresge serves as the Joint Forces Air Component Commander and, when designated, as the Commander, Air Force Forces, during operations or contingency. He also serves as Commander, Joint Task Force - Support Forces Antarctica, Operation Deep Freeze.  Headquarters 13th Air Force provides oversight and direction to the 15th Wing, JB Hickam; the 36th Wing, Andersen AFB, Guam; the 1st Air Support Operations Group, Fort Lewis, Wash.; and 12 additional units in Japan, Alaska and California. It is home to the George C. Kenney Headquarters, which includes the 613th Air and Space Operations Center. The 613th AOC provides the commanders of U.S. Pacific Air Forces and U.S. Pacific Command continuous combat capability and a standing organization tasked to immediately execute operations in support of theater and national objectives.

General Kresge was commissioned in 1980 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy. His commands include the F-15 Division, USAF Weapons School; 27th Fighter Squadron; 1st Operations Group; 33rd Fighter Wing; and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing. The general has held staff assignments at the Air, Land and Sea Application Agency, Secretary of the Air Force Office of the Legislative Liaison, Air Combat Command and Air Force Space Command. Prior to his current assignment, he was Commander, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center, Nellis AFB, Nev. 

The general is a command pilot with more than 4,000 flying hours, primarily in the F-15.
