Heartland Region Office of Small Business Utilization
The GSA Heartland Office of Small Business Utilization (OSBU) is dedicated to identifying bidding opportunities and contracting vehicles for small businesses. The procurement preference categories are: small, small disadvantaged, Section 8(a), woman-owned small, HUBZone small, veteran-owned small, and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses.
Vendors are notified of current GSA procurement projects electronically by registering on FedBizOpps (Federal Business Opportunities).
Kansas City's Small Business Networking Events
Local entrepreneurs are offered the opportunity to introduce their business to small and large businesses, school districts and universities, as well as local, state and federal agencies. The breakfasts are held the first Tuesday of each month in Kansas City, Missouri.
