Population Architecture using Genomics and Epidemiology (PAGE) Consortium

A Catalog of Published Genome-Wide Association Studies


Ms. Junkins is a health science analyst in the Office of Population Genomics, National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI), joining NHGRI in 2007. She received her Masters in biomedical anthropology from the State University of New York at Binghamton, where her research focused on examining the biological, cultural and social issues surrounding infectious disease. She also managed a comprehensive biobank of diverse biological specimens and samples. Prior to joining NHGRI, Ms. Junkins managed human clinical trials and coordinated traditional and experimental protocols in a veterinary oncology unit.

Within the Office of Population Genomics, she is currently working on several collaborative projects: consensus measures of Phenotypes and Exposures (PhenX), the application of PhenX measures in population-based studies (PhenX RISING), and is also a co-lead on the Genomic Medicine Pilot Demonstration Projects. She is also curates the NHGRI Genome-wide Association Studies Catalog.
