05/12/2011 - New EPA Lawn Care Videos Encourage Healthy and Environmentally Friendly Practices. EPA has created a series of new videos to encourage homeowners and communities to adopt healthy lawn care practices as a means of reducing pesticide risk to human health and the environment.
03/08/2011 - EPA announces the availability of Pesticide Registration Improvement Renewal Act (PRIA 2) Partnership Grants (25 pp, 277K, about PDF) totaling $0.5 million to advance partnerships that focus on integrated pest management (IPM) approaches. Applications must be submitted on or before April 22, 2011.

3/2010 - Baltimore Maryland Health Department, EPA Announce Grant for Safe Pest Management for Health Initiative (2 pp, 100K, about PDF). Baltimore Health Department officials announced a $250,000 (PRIA2) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency to create a new program designed to transform pest management practices and improve health in Baltimore City homes, schools, parks and businesses.
1/2010 - Infestations Vacations - A new video public service announcement provides information on how to prevent rats and mice from infesting homes. The public service announcement was developed by EPA's Office of Pesticide Programs in partnership with students from Howard University in Washington, DC. It was produced by the Earth Conservation Corps, a non-profit organization that prepares inner-city youth for environmental careers.
11/2009 - Less pesticide spray, more awards - After more than 10 years of effort to help local wine-grape growers spray fewer pesticides on their crops, the Central Coast Vineyard Team has won a national award from EPA.
