Do you believe that stem cell research has much promise or do you think it was hit a plateau?      Amy Gaviglio, M.S., C.G.C.: I am a genetic counselor at the MN Department of Health. I work in the newborn screening program and am involved in education surrounding public health genetics and ethics. I definitely think that stem cell research still has much promise! There are so many things that need to still be looked at, that I feel this research is actually very much still in its infancy. Westview High School in CA (11th grade student)
