List of Pregnancy Exposure Registries
A pregnancy exposure registry is a study that collects health information from women who take medicines or vaccines when they are pregnant. The FDA does not run pregnancy studies, but it keeps a list of all registries that are going on now.
Check to see if there is a registry for the medicine you are taking. Look for your medicine or medical condition on one of the lists on this page. Then use the phone number or website shown to contact the organization that runs the pregnancy registry.
- View a list by the medical condition - Check here if you have cancer, epilepsy (seizures), autoimmunie disease, HIV/AIDS or a transplant.
- View a list by the name of the drug or vaccine - Check here if you know the name of your medicine.
What if I do not see my medicine on the list? There may not be a pregnancy registry for that medicine. New drugs are added to the list as information becomes available. You may find other information about your medicine at:
- Medication Guides - Information handouts that come with some prescription medicines.
- Drug Specific Information - Index of information on some FDA-approved drugs.
- DailyMed - National Library of Medicine website where you can find information from the drug labels for over 20,000 drugs.
- OTIS (Organization of Teratology Information Specialists) - Call OTIS to speak with a counselor about taking medicines while you are pregnant or breastfeeding. 1-866-626-6847
