- 478 historic buildings listed and eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places
- Historic buildings make up more than one fourth (25%) of GSA’s owned inventory and total more than 60 million rentable square feet in space
National Register of Historic Places (Government-Owned Inventory):
- 302 buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places
- 10 individually listed National Historic Landmarks, 86 listed as part of National Historic Landmark Districts
- 7 buildings individually listed in the National Register of Historic Places that are under 50 years old and have been determined exceptionally important
