EFRI FY 2013 Solicitation

The EFRI Office has launched a new funding opportunity for interdisciplinary teams of researchers to embark on rapidly advancing frontiers of fundamental engineering research.  For this new solicitation, we will consider proposals that aim to investigate emerging frontiers in the following three specific research areas:

(1) Flexible Bioelectronics Systems (BioFlex)
(2) Origami Design For The Integration Of Self-assembling Systems
      For Engineering Innovation (ODISSEI)

(3) Photosynthesis Biorefineries (PSBR)  

Letter of Intent (required) Due Date: September 06, 2012

Preliminary Proposal (required) Due Date: October 10, 2012

Full Proposal (By invitation) Due Date: February 08, 2013
