  • 22-foot Vehicle Length Limit in Sequoia NP thru end of November 2012 (if entering/exiting Hwy 198)

Check the weather forecast for the area(s) you plan to visit, BEFORE leaving home. Temperatures and weather patterns can be drastically different throughout the parks at any given time. Daytime temperatures can vary 20-30 degrees depending on your location. While shorts and sandals may be appropriate in the foothills in the spring and early summer, it may not be in the higher elevations where there may be several feet of snow on the ground.
