State of the Environment is your project. It’s about what you see. We couldn’t make that up if we tried!

When you take a picture, that scene means something to you. It might be captivating, shocking, something pretty for your wall, or a moment you never want to forget. There’s something truly magical about photography’s ability to capture that picture in time.

Inspired by Documerica EPA launched this global photo documentary on Earth Day 2011. This is your chance to be a part of history and to our knowledge, there has never been a project like it.
