Know Before You Go
To fulfill the monument’s purpose, some previously-allowed activities have been discontinued. Please be familiar with all requirements necessary to protect the monument. Avoid and respect private property throughout the monument. Stay on established trails. Cross-country travel by bicycles and vehicles is prohibited. Leave no trace…pack out everything you pack in. Maps
The Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument is located immediately north of the California/Oregon border near Interstate 5. The easiest access is Hwy 66 near the town of Ashland, Oregon. Public access maps are available as PDF files. more>>

Collecting
Generally the collection of monument features (rocks, wood, plants, insects, snakes, etc.) is not allowed. There are limited exceptions for edibles and firewood for personal use. more>>
