The Northern Mariana Islands have lost a fourth son in the War on Terror.  U.S. Marine Lance Corporal Adam Quitugua Emul, 20, of Tanapag, Saipan was killed in the line of duty in Al-Anbar Province in Iraq, on Monday, January 29.  Emul, who joined the U.S. Marines in 2005, was second in a family of 6 siblings.

Emul becomes the 14th known Pacific Islander serving from the Micronesia region, to die in the War on Terror.  The Department of the Interior's Office of Insular Affairs remembers and honors those and their surviving families who give the ultimate in sacrifice in the War on Terror.
