Our Mission

To work with our partners to develop, restore, and maintain aquatic resources for the benefit of the American people. Our goals are to: 1) Recover fish and mussel populations protected under the Endangered Species Act and restore declining populations of native species, 2) Maintain diverse, self-sustaining fish and other aquatic resource populations and their habitats, 3) Prevent new introductions and minimize range expansion of aquatic invasive species, and 4) Enhance recreational fishing opportunities on National Wildlife Refuge and Department of Defense lands.
