Information Sharing

 

CBER undertakes, on a routine basis, scientific and policy discussions under confidentiality arrangements with peer regulatory counterparts. These discussions take place on a range of issues, both in structured and ad hoc venues. CBER has conferred on product safety concerns, scientific challenges, and inspectional issues. CBER values these information sharing opportunities with peer regulatory counterparts as these exchanges strengthen and better inform our regulatory decisions, contribute to best regulatory practices, enhance public trust, and provide CBER access to more extensive scientific resources and regulatory experience than available otherwise.
