Welcome to Southeast Iowa and to our website. Through the website, we have tried to anticipate your information needs. You will find material on a variety of topics; some of which you can download and print. Our focus is on programs and services for elders aged 60 or older or for caregivers of elders.
Our agency funds a variety of services for elders including home delivered and congregate meals, chore service, home repair, in-home help, respite, transportation and civil legal services. We also provide funding for Alzheimer’s disease support groups, telephone reassurance and more. Our goal is to help older adults stay independent for as long as it is physically and economically possible.
Thank you for stopping by and if you don’t find what you are looking for, please give us a call Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST. Our telephones during these time periods are answered by human beings and not machines. During the weekend, we do employ the use of an answering machine and if you leave a message with a clearly stated telephone number, we will call you back on the next business day.
