The Department of Energy (DOE), which developed and sponsored Quantity Quotes, will take Quantity Quotes offline in May 2011. With regard to the future, the Department will assess the role and impact of the web site, and consider options directly in line with the Department's mission. DOE's decision will be permanent, unless the Department determines that an adapted online role is needed and the resources are available to support it.
