Lijun Ma, Ph.D.

Lijun Ma received B.S. degree in Department of Precision Instruments, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1996, and M.S. and Ph.D degree in National Engineering Research Center for Optical Memory, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2001.

From 2001 to 2004, he worked on several research projects on optical storage and optical communication in Singapore and China. Since 2004, he has been with the Advanced Network Technology Division, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, MD, where he is researching quantum key distribution system and network, and related technologies.

Dr. Ma has coauthored scores of journal articles, conference publications and patent applications. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a member of Optical Society of America.
