Question: What is a LIBID? What should I do if I have forgotten my LIBID?
Answer:
A LIBID (Library ID) is a 6-letter code that identifies institutions in the National Library of Medicine's DOCLINE system. The LIBID is linked to a library's institution record and is required to place an interlibrary loan request with NLM.
