Congressman Boehner: Obama Admin Policies Have “Made the Economy Worse”

Jan 18, 2012

Washington
-

At a press conference with House Republican leaders, Congressman John Boehner (R-West Chester) said Republicans will continue to focus on policies that help create a better environment for private-sector job growth. The Congressman also noted that the Obama administration’s policies have made it harder for small businesses to create new jobs. Below is video and text of Boehner’s remarks:

“American families and small businesses are continuing to struggle in this economy. The number one issue for House Republicans is to continue to focus on those policies that we believe will get our economy going again and to create jobs. We’ve passed 30 bills that are sitting over in the United States Senate.

“But it’s also clear that the policies that have been implemented by the Obama administration, and the Democrat Congress they had that preceded us, have made the economy worse and have made it more difficult for small businesses to create jobs.

“The issue of job creation in our country is critically important. And we’re to continue to focus on it every single day that we’re here in Washington representing the interests of the American people.”
