The resource list below is designed to guide existing and developing Neighborhood Networks consortia through fundraising and grantwriting challenges. The links will offer Neighborhood Networks consortia members technical assistance resources, related articles and publications, and examples of successful fundraising initiatives.

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
Maintained by the U.S. General Services Administration, this Web site provides comprehensive information on Federal grant assistance as well as Federal government projects, services, and activities.

The Foundation Center
The Foundation Center is a national organization based in New York City and Washington, D.C. This Web site collects and distributes information on hundreds of grantmakers, including recent statistics and trends. It also includes several grant-related publications and how-to books, frequently asked questions about grants, and access to an online librarian who provides resource information to interested users.

Foundations On-Line
A service of the Northern California Community Foundation, this directory provides links to community foundations, corporate foundations, private foundations, and grantmakers.

Grants, Etc.
Enables novice and advanced grantseekers, funders, fundraisers, and donors to access Funding Sources and Information Resources. Funding Sources links include government agencies, foundations, corporations, nonprofit organizations, funders for special interests, and contributors and recipients. Information Resources links include courses and workshops, associations, journal and listservs, information sources, laws, taxes and management, and meta-sites and search engines.

Grantproposal.com
Provides free grantwriting resources for both advanced and inexperienced nonprofit staff. This site is specifically designed for nonprofit organizations.

The Grantsmanship Center
Offers training and publications on both grantwriting and grantseeking. The center also publishes a free newspaper with articles and information on program planning and proposal writing, among other topics. The Web site links include Today's Federal Register, Federal funding, state funding, community foundations, and international funding.

Guide for Writing a Funding Proposal
The Guide for Writing a Funding Proposal was created to help individuals in search of funds for projects that provide worthwhile social services. The Guide focuses on the development of meaningful cooperative relationships—with funding agencies, community organizations, and those in need—as a basis for the development of strong fundable initiatives.
