Insured Multifamily Mortgages Database

New this month, Premise ID: The Premise ID is an "umbrella" number the Multifamily Insurance System (MFIS) assigns to a "property." Each active or terminated FHA loan secured by a particular "property" will have the same 10-digit Premise ID. Use the Premise ID to join active and terminated loans associated with the same property. Some Examples:

  • If an active 221d4 loan has a subordinate 241a additions loan, the 221d4 and the 241a loans will have different FHA Project Numbers, but the same Premise ID.
  • If a 223a7 refinances a 223f loan, the active 223a7 loan and the terminated 223f loan will have different FHA Project Numbers but the same Premise ID.
