New Proposed Fee Guidelines
As announced on November 4, 2011, the USTP drafted new proposed guidelines for reviewing applications for compensation and reimbursement of expenses filed by attorneys in larger chapter 11 cases. There have been two public comment periods – November 4, 2011, through January 31, 2012, and April 10, 2012, through May 21, 2012. In addition, the USTP conducted a public meeting to discuss the proposed fee guidelines on June 4, 2012. All comments received during the formal comment periods, as well as the transcript from the public meeting, are available for review.
