The Get Smart campaign has developed a variety of Public Service Announcements (PSAs).
There are three radio PSAs. These Radio PSAs are available as a national version (with CDC contact information) or can be adapted for local implementation.
- English - Target audience: healthy adults
- English - Target audience: parents of young children
- Spanish - Target audience: Spanish speaking Latinos
The Get Smart campaign has one TV PSA, which is targeted to parents of young children. This TV PSA is available as a national version (with CDC contact information) or can be adapted for local implementation.

Antibiotics don’t work for viral infections. Sometimes plenty of rest, fluids, and hugs will be best.
