LTC Patricia L. George was born in Buffalo, NY and enlisted into the United States Army Reserves in her junior year of high school. In May 1995, she graduated summa cum laude from St. Bonaventure University, New York and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. LTC George was selected as the distinguished military graduate and was commissioned into the Regular Army as an Adjutant General Corps Officer.

LTC George's early assignments included Platoon Leader in 510th Postal Company, in Stuttgart, Germany and Company Commander and Assistant Operations Officer in the 510th Personnel Services Battalion, Mannheim, Germany. Upon her return to the United States, she was assigned as the Operations Officer, Pittsburgh Military Entrance Processing Station in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

After completion of the Adjutant General Officer Advanced Course in May 2002, she served in the 15th Personnel Services Battalion in Fort Hood, Texas, where she commanded the Alpha Detachment, 15th Personnel Services Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division and deployed with her unit to Baghdad, Iraq in March 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. After 26 months in command, she served as the Officer Strength Manager for 1st Cavalry Division until June 2005.

Upon returning from Iraq, she was assigned to the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Alexandria, VA from 2005-2008, where she served as the Chief, Officer Promotions and subsequently as the Chief, Evaluation Policy in the Military Personnel Services Division. During this time, she obtained her Masters of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University.

After graduating from the Command and General Staff College in 2009, Major George was assigned to 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (LI) in Fort Drum, New York where she served as the Brigade Combat Team S1 and deployed to Mazar Sharif in Northern Afghanistan from March 2010-2011. She is currently assigned as an Instructor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York.

Her awards and decorations include the Bronze Star with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the National Defense Service Medal with a bronze star, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Meritorious Outstanding Volunteer Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Meritorious Unit Citation with two Oak Leaf Clusters, and the Drill Sergeant Badge.

She is happily married and with 3 beautiful children.
