The Freeing the Elwha Curriculum, developed by a team of Interpretive Park Rangers at Olympic National Park, will help you teach your class about Elwha River Restoration through science, social studies, creative response and mathematics.

Olympic National Park protects the largest unmanaged herd of Roosevelt elk in the world. Olympic was almost named "Elk National Park" and was established in part to protect these stately animals.
