Special Advisor for Nonproliferation and Arms Control Robert Einhorn will visit Seoul and Tokyo next week to discuss sanctions on Iran and North Korea. Special Advisor Einhorn will be accompanied by Treasury Deputy Assistant Secretary, Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes, Daniel Glaser. In Seoul (August 2-3), they will meet with senior South Korean officials, including from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Ministry of Finance, and the Blue House. They will then travel to Tokyo (August 3-4) for meetings with senior Japanese officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, and others. They will return to Washington on August 4.
