Jovenes en Accion visits Tijuana
Tijuana | Feb 8, 2013. The U.S. Consulate General in Tijuana and CETYS University hosted a group of 77 Mexican junior high school students in Tijuana to conduct a two day training as part of the Youth program "Jovenes en Accion". The students were selected based on their proposals for community projects and academic merit. This group of students had the opportunity to be in the United States for five weeks during the summer of 2012.

Consulate offers training to recognize counterfeit currency
Tijuana | Jan 17, 2013. U.S. Consulate General Tijuana offered a workshop on recognizing counterfeit currency conducted by personnel from the Secret Service Office at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. Participants came from civil society organizations, the business community and local governments. The workshop was held at the U.S. Consulate General in Tijuana.

112 Graduates from Youth Employability Program in Tijuana-USAID
Today the International Youth Foundation celebrated the graduation of 112 young participants from the Youth Employability program in Tijuana. Tom Delaney, Director of USAID in Mexico, Mario Garcia, President of the International Community Foundation (FIC) and Ruben Acosta from International Youth Foundation (IYF) joined them to mark the occasion.
