Standards for Metrology Artifacts

The Dimensional Metrology Group (683.01) provides the nation’s highest accuracy calibrations of measuring tapes and related artifacts. The group is active in the ASME B89.1 committee on Length Metrology and contributed to the first national standard by the U.S. on steel measuring tapes.
