US DOJ EEOS: Diversity Statement
The Tax Division plans to send Division representatives to recruiting events and other outreach activities throughout the upcoming year.
Last year, Division representatives have attended recruiting events which, as a whole, brought together more than 6,500 students from 96 law schools throughout the country.
Diversity Committee Contact List
To expand recruitment efforts, the Division has developed an email outreach list of approximately 700 organizational contacts. These contacts have received, and will continue to receive, the Tax Division's most recent attorney vacancy announcements, along with a request to disseminate the announcements to potentially interested individuals.
We will be periodically reviewing and updating the contact list. If your organization has members who would be receptive to our outreach efforts, please forward the name of the organization and any contact information to Richard L. Parker at (202) 307-3684, an attorney in our Appellate Section.

DOJ-AHEAD is an employee organization open to all employees of the Department of Justice whose primary goal is to assist the
Department in promoting equitable participation and full utilization of its Hispanic employees..
DOJ Pan Asia
Identifies, addresses and assists in developing effective policies and practices to increase the number and effect full and equitable
participation and utilization of Asian American and Pacific Islander employees in the DOJ workforce and in leadership positions.
DOJ Pride
Seeks to make the Department a model employer for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals.
