Alison L. Doone, Chief Financial Officer

Alison L. Doone joined GSA as its Chief Financial Officer on September 27, 2010.

Doone serves as the principal adviser to the Administrator on federal financial management, ensuring compliance with financial policies governing GSA's $20 billion in financial activity, and provides financial management services to GSA and more than 50 external customers as a Financial Management Line of Business Shared Services Provider. As Chief Financial Officer, Doone is responsible for providing enterprisewide leadership for strategic planning, budget, performance measurement, accounting operations, ePayroll services, and internal controls.

Doone has held executive positions as Deputy Staff Director and Chief Financial Officer for the Federal Election Commission, Deputy Assistant Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Agency's Office of Finance, and most recently, as the CFO for the Internal Revenue Service, where she oversaw the financial management and accounting operations for a $12 billion budget and $2.3 trillion in tax revenue.

Doone is the recipient of a 2009 Presidential Rank Award as a meritorious executive.

Doone received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The Pennsylvania State University.
