A developing storm system is expected to bring heavy rain and strong wind to much of Southcentral Alaska this weekend. This comes on the heels of another wind storm that caused significant damage to the region last week making some areas more vulnerable. Winds in Anchorage could gust to 65 mph, and farther east in the higher elevations winds could gust to 100 mph. High Wind Warnings are in effect.
