Michael A. Pearson assumed the duties of the Federal Detention Trustee on July 5, 2010. He served with the United States Marshals Service since 2002 as Assistant Director for Asset Forfeiture and Management Support Divisions. Mr. Pearson served as Executive Associate Commissioner, Field Operations for the Immigration and Naturalization Service from 1997 to 2002. He served in the U.S. Army for 24 years.
