Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Judith McHale will deliver the 2010 Frances McNulty Logan Lewis Lecture on Thursday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Lee Chapel in Lexington, Virginia.

The topic of Under Secretary McHale’s lecture will be "Enduring Leadership: Marshall’s Legacy for American Public Diplomacy in the 21st Century." The public is invited.

The lecture takes place under the auspices of the George C. Marshall Foundation in Lexington, Virginia. The independent Marshall Foundation perpetuates the legacy of George C. Marshall through scholarship, leadership and statesmanship programs and facilities (including a museum and research library) that offer resources and materials for use by the general public, amateur historians, scholars and students of all ages.

The following morning, Under Secretary McHale will have a breakfast discussion with female students from Washington and Lee University and Southern Virginia University, and female cadets from the Virginia Military Institute, focused on challenges and opportunities for professional women today.
