Joint Public Hearings on the Community Reinvestment Act Regulations

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency convened a public hearing on Community Reinvestment Act regulations on August 17, 2010, in Los Angeles. This was the fourth and final public hearing held this summer. The hearing focused upon small business and consumer lending and CRA disclosures and performance evaluations.

The four hearing(s) covered the modernization of the regulations that implement the CRA. They were jointly sponsored by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the OCC, and the Office of Thrift Supervision.
