Dr. Cynthia Ferguson has been named principal of Maxwell AFB Elementary/Middle School, at Maxwell AFB, AL. Current Principal Melissa Hayes has accepted a position at Aviano Elementary School, Italy, with DoDDS-Europe.

Shelton Named Jackson Elementary School Principal

Ms. Linda Shelton has been named principal of Jackson Elementary School, at Fort Campbell, KY. She is currently an assistant principal at Ramey School, aboard Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen, Puerto Rico, in the New York/Virginia/Puerto Rico District.

Thompson Named Mudge Elementary School Principal

Mrs. Talisha Thompson has been named principal of Mudge Elementary School, at Fort Knox, KY. Mrs. Thompson most recently served as the assistant principal at Fort Knox High School, a position she had held since March 2010.

Albrecht Named Assistant Superintendent of North Carolina District

Mr. Carl Albrecht comes to DDESS/DoDDS-Cuba from DoDDS-Pacific where he served as Assistant Superintendent for Transition with the DoDEA Korea School District. He joins Assistant Superintendent Harriet Hunter-Boykin, Ed.D., and the two will oversee the schools aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

Mrs. Annie H. Crandle will serve as principal of Pinckney Elementary School. She most recently served as an assistant superintendent for school improvement with the Fairfield County, SC schools.

Mrs. Helen Balilo has been named assistant superintendent for the New York, Virginia, Puerto Rico District. She will reside in Puerto Rico.
