        "The District’s human trafficking program focuses on investigating and prosecuting persons who engage in sex trafficking and labor trafficking. Working with the FBI, HSI, local law enforcement agencies, as well as advocacy and victim groups, the Office strives to not only punish lawbreakers but also provide needed services and assistance to the victims of human trafficking.
