State Quarter Day In The Classroom!
Utah Outline

The United States Mint released the Utah quarter on November 5, 2007.  Utah is the forty-fifth state to be honored as a part of the 50 State Quarters® Program.

On May 10, 1869, the Central Pacific and the Union Pacific railroad lines met Promontory, Utah.  Utah's quarter shows two trains meeting at the golden spike before Utah mountains.  The moment captured on Uta's quarter truly changed the state and the nation forever!

Teachers, below you will find several activities and links that will bring the features of this coin and the excitement of the Utah "State Quarter Day" into your classroom!
