New Army Knowledge Online webmail released
HEIDELBERG, Germany — A new and completely redesigned webmail system debuted on Army Knowledge Online this month, AKO officials announced May 14.
The new webmail system has a desktop-like interface for managing e-mail and calendars, including the ability to "drag and drop" e-mail messages between folders. It also features an integrated instant messenger client, improved encryption, secure signing capabilities and an AKO directory search.
Users can launch the new Webmail client by clicking "Email" from any portal page on AKO.
