The New Orleans District Office serves 64 parishes (counties) of Louisiana, an area of approximately 44,521,000 square miles. Louisiana is known for rolling hills and marshy wetlands, from serene lake bayous to the mighty Mississippi River and the vast Gulf of Mexico.

• Financial assistance for new or existing businesses through guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders. • Assistance to businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals through the Minority Enterprise Development Program.
