FCC ANNOUNCES TECHNOLOGICAL ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING ON

SEPTEMBER 24, 2012

The FCC’s Technological Advisory Council, comprised of a diverse group of leading technology
experts, provides technical expertise to the Commission to identify important areas of innovation

objectives established earlier in the year and discussed initial findings, issues, and further
recommendations on its 2012 work program. At its next meeting in September, the TAC will
discuss specific recommendations it is proposing to make to the Commission as well as its
continuing progress on 2012 work objectives.
The next meeting of the TAC will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012, from 1:00 pm to
4:00 pm in the Commission Meeting Room, 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. The
