(September 26, 2012) The California Chamber of Commerce today released a CalChamber News segment urging Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. to veto AB 889 (Ammiano). (August 17, 2012) The California Chamber of Commerce has launched the CalChamber Coalition for Pension Reform to urge legislators to support the pension reform principles Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. announced last October. (August 8, 2012) A California Chamber of Commerce-opposed “job killer” bill that threatens thousands of manufacturing jobs within the state through a polystyrene food container ban is back and awaiting action by the full Assembly. (August 3, 2012) This CalChamber News segment focuses on job killer AB 1450, which essentially prohibits employers from legitimately inquiring into an applicant’s most recent employment history.
