Purchase a Federal Duck Stamp Online

The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service is piloting a program, giving customers the option to purchase the Federal Duck Stamp online. The online stamp (also called electronic stamp, or E-Stamp) is valid for 45 days from the date of purchase and authorizes the customer to use it immediately following the purchase. After 45 days, the customer must carry their Federal Duck Stamp while hunting. The Federal Duck Stamp will be mailed to the customer and should be received within 45 days.

Currently, eight states participate in this pilot program. Below are links to those states that offer online license purchasing on their websites. Click on the state name to be taken directly to that state’s online license purchasing location. Anyone, regardless of what state you live in, may purchase an E-Stamp online through any of the states listed below.

  Arkansas   Florida   Maryland   Texas

  Colorado   Idaho   Minnesota

Wisconsin

If you experience problems during your purchase of the online stamp or with the receipt of your duck stamp, please contact the state from which you made the purchase since that information will be in their system. Do not contact the Federal Duck Stamp Office. Also, it is important that you have a printer so you will be able to print the electronic stamp. If you have questions about purchasing an E-stamp from one of these states, you may click on the name of that state to be taken to their website and contact them directly with your questions.
