ReConnect is a 12-week advocacy training program for adult formerly incarcerated women in transition from prison, jail or an alternative to incarceration program who want to join with others in the fight to change the criminal justice system. The program provides education on issues that affect women with a criminal history such as employment discrimination, housing, parental rights, financial justice and access to higher education. Participants gain information and strategies for overcoming the systemic barriers they face during reentry, as well as how to work to on political reform. The program has a newsletter called SistersConnected which is created by program participants.
