The Lovelady Center offers a variety of services to help women make the transition from prison to society, including housing, meals, substance abuse treatment, counseling, job placement, career training, parenting guidance and personal budgeting skills. Courses are also taught on domestic violence, and making peace with your past. The women housed at the Lovelady Center are homeless either because of substance abuse or domestic violence, because they are transitioning from prison, or are on supervised release from prison. Women who reside at the Lovelady Center participate in a 9 to 12 month program that is completed in two phases.
