WCCJ/Women At Risk helps individuals break the cycle of abuse and wrong choices that lead to criminal activity. In particular, Women At Risk gives to women the opportunity, the motivation, and the tools to succeed. Women At Risk offers a safe, nurturing environment in which women can receive counseling and substance abuse treatment, attend AA meetings, and share life experiences. Services include therapy, case management, court advocacy and abuser treatment. Curricula include "Seeking Safety."

Who is helped?

Women with pending criminal charges related to drugs, motor vehicle offenses, assault, fraud, forgery, probation violation, or larceny. Women re-entering their communities, including those on probation and parole, with substance abuse issues. Capacity: Level 1 Outpatient - approximately 120 people served per year.
