MASS Inc. helps people being released from prison readjust to life without bars. MASS Inc. also provides support for the children and families of formerly incarcerated adults at high risk for substance abuse, medical or emotional disorders and poverty.
Because every client's needs are widely different, case managers assess each family member before support begins. A comprehensive strategy is created to provide services which might include: individual and family therapy, substance abuse, parenting help, computer training, job development (interviewing, job search, placement), housing assistance, travel to and from Texas prisons for children whose parents are incarcerated.
The program assists formerly incarcerated individuals and their families as well as the families of incarcerated people and those on probation.
