Women residents attend daily classes on a variety of subjects; basic life skills, addiction and recovery, anger management, parenting and healthy relationships. A case manager is assigned to each resident to assist with personal counseling and connecting to various social services within the community. The program is modeled around the therapeutic community concept which emphasizes ownership and responsible living within a community environment.

Who is helped?

Women who have been arrested and are either awaiting a court date, serving a relatively short jail sentence or awaiting transport to community corrections or prison. Capacity: 4000 served per year; capacity is 250 at once.
