  • RMP Maintenance Forms
Records of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plans are maintained as necessary.  Maintenance actions reflect minor changes in data, as provided for in BLM regulation at 43 CFR 1610.5.4.  Maintenance is limited to further refining, documenting, or clarifying a previously approved decision incorporated in the plan.  Maintenance does not expand the scope of resource uses or restrictions or change the terms, conditions, and decisions of the Approved Resource Management Plan.  Plan maintenance is not considered a plan amendment.  Since its approval in October 2008, the Moab Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan has corrected minor data, typographical, acreage, mapping, or tabular data errors, among other things.   Plan maintenance must occur as needed so that the RMP and its supporting records reflect the current status of decision implementation and knowledge of resource conditions.
