WASHINGTON - More than 80 representatives of industry, government, disability organizations, and the public will gather at the September 2001 Accessibility Forum to collaborate on Section 508 issues and to announce priority projects. The Accessibility Forum is sponsored by the U.S. General Services Administration. It will be held at the Gallaudet University Kellogg Conference Center in Washington, DC., on September 19-21.

The three-day forum will include presentations by the organization structure and project determination identification teams that were formed at the inaugural May 2001 meeting. Forum participants include representatives of electronic and information technology companies; assistive technology companies; advocacy groups; academic, research, and standards groups; and government procurement and information technology representatives. The forum staff consists of representatives from GSA, the Internal Revenue Service, Advanced Technology Institute, the Environmental Research Institute of Michigan, Arthur D. Little, and Accessible Solutions (CESSI).
