In a continuing effort to support the evaluation and implementation of the new M-E Design Guide developed under NCHRP 1-37A, the FHWA Design Guide Implementation Team (DGIT) is pleased to offer the Materials Input Workshops. These workshops are scheduled as shown below and are intended to help pavement design engineers and materials engineers better understand materials testing and characterization as it has been incorporated in the new design guide software.
The intended audience for these workshops is State Highway Agency pavement design, materials, and pavement management engineers. FHWA field engineers and local agency engineers may also be interested in attending. For those unable to attend a workshop, the option to participate in the workshop is available through an online webcast open to all (March 30-31).
